POS Health Insurance

POS stands for Point of Service. This is a newer plan and is a combination hybrid of the PPO and HMO plan. You must select a PCP (primary care physician). You are able to go outside the network and still be able to be covered under your health insurance. Your bill will be higher if you go out of network compared to in-network. The monthly premiums of POS health insurance tend to be higher than HMO insurance plans.
